News Stories- Le Grand Backen de Navidad: Our MFL Department's baking competition returns for another year!
Research a French, German or Spanish speaking countries cakes and bakes and produce a festive treat. Judging on Thursday 19 December. - House Photography Competition - Congratulations Coombe!
The theme was straight lines, and Mr Iden, who kindly judged the entries, was really impressed with the creativity shown by entrants. Congratulations to Coombe House, who will receive 2500 House Points! - Anti Bullying week recently was named "It's Cool to be Kind" week at the Academy!
The focus was on how small changes can make big differences. Students were reminded to let their Kindness Coordinators know of any random acts of kindness that happen around the Academy. - Christmas Concert @ Warden Park: Wednesday 18 December @ 6.30 pm - tickets now on sale! Please support our wonderful students by coming along to this festive occasion packed full of musical treats with
special guest appearance from BHASVIC. Our Friends will be running a bar, selling mulled wine, mince pies etc. - Year 12 Certificate & Coursework Collection: Tuesday 19 and Thursday 21 November (5 pm to 6 pm)
Students should report to T1 where Mr Atwell and Mr Corke will be available. - School production announced! The Wind in the Willows is coming to the Academy for 2020!
Introductory workshops on 23 and 24 September with Auditions on 30 and 1 October after school in the Assembly Hall. Open to ALL students in Years 7 to 10. - Autumn term: Clubs and Activities Programme 2019 now published!
Clubs offered include Chess, Choir, Geography, Orchestra, STEM and Technology to name a few! In almost all cases our clubs are FREE! - Cambodia 2021! A month long trip which will involve working on local community projects, visiting Angkor Wat, Siem Reap and a jungle expedition to hidden Buddhist temples
The trip is open to students in current Year 9 or 10. Students will need to fundraise for the trip through charity fundraising. - Year 11: Post 16 Opportunities Evening - Thursday 26 September 2019, 6 pm to 8 pm
Representatives from local FE colleges as well as local maintained and independent schools with 6th forms will be pleased to meet you. There will also be an opportunity to meet apprenticeship providers and members of the police and armed forces. - Open Mornings start on Monday 16 September 2019 and are available to book via our Reception team
Tours will take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning through to October half term. Tours start at 9.15 am. Please reserve your place by contacting our Reception Team Tel 01444 457881. Booking is essential.
