Welcome to Year 7

What an exciting time for you all - and for us too!

There are new routines and expectations to master.

Lots of new friends to made; friends in your tutor group, friends in your teaching group, friends in your English and Maths sets, friends in after school clubs.

New lessons. Science in laboratories! Art in rooms dedicated to the subject! Technology workshops packed with interesting gadgets and equipment!

Sport - Wow - you will be `bowled over` with the choice of activities both during lesson time and after school! Rugby, girls football, boys football, girls cricket, boys cricket, athletics, dance, netball, tennis, handball, horse-riding, swimming, golf, fitness, hockey, cycling, judo, table tennis, badminton and even darts.)

Music and Drama. Annual productions to be auditioned for (Fiddler on the Roof, Guys and Dolls in recent years). Music concerts to take part in.

Top tips:

Do homework the night it is set if possible - the topic taught in the lesson will be fresh in your mind.

Check your Go4Schools account every day.

Pack your school bag the night before - check - Week A or B!

Treat others as you would want to be treated.
