Year 11

So, now you’re a Year 11. You know what is expected of you. Yes, Year 11 is hard work, but it will be so rewarding. It is imperative that you start well and maintain the very high standards that you have set. Time management will be of huge importance but remember the key word is balance. As vital it is to work hard, it is just as vital at times to switch off and relax. Exercise or getting hooked on a good book can be key to this.

Mocks will arrive after half term starting at the end of October but the Art mocks do start the week before half term. Being organised is essential: timetabling your revision, the provision of your iPad and access to Go4Schools will be invaluable. Don’t forget that your parents can access Go4Schools too, so they will be making sure that you are up to date with all of your work.

Parents will receive an update once every half-term, informing them of what you will be studying in your subjects and what to expect in lessons. Remember, everybody wants the very best from you and we support you because we care.

We have very high expectations of you as Year 11 pupils and I expect you to represent yourself with pride and honour. Take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way and fulfil the potential you have.
