We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident and skilled Cover Supervisor to join our team of professionals.  The key role of a Cover Supervisor is to work closely with our students across a range of subjects and to ensure they maintain their learning in the absence of their regular teacher. Candidates will have strong organisational and interpersonal skills for this rewarding role and be relentless in their commitment to the success of all our students.

The ability to work calmly and often under pressure is essential.   A good working knowledge of current ICT packages is required and previous experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage. However we have a strong commitment to developing our staff so you can also expect to engage in a range of training activities. As such this is an excellent preparation for anyone considering a career in either teaching or supporting students’ learning.  For the right candidate there may be an opportunity to learn the role of the Cover Manager to deputise in their absence.

This a term time only position.  The full time work pattern for a Cover Supervisor is Monday to Friday, 8.45am-3.25pm which includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.  Actual work days to be worked can be discussed/negotiated at interview but are likely to be Monday-Wednesday.
