Warden Park Academy has a history of strong GCSE results and in 2017 showed that with the commitment from students and staff together, high standards were achieved. With the Government move towards linear qualifications and the increased emphasis on examinations for assessment, we are well equipped to build on this history of success.
The Examinations Officer and her team are highly committed to each student. This means that they will, wherever possible, accommodate individual student need, provide a strong fully trained invigilation team to support the running of examinations and will provide timely and considered responses to all students and parents with any questions or concerns about the examination process.
Warden Park Academy has a strong commitment towards supporting candidates with SEND/BESD. In the first instance queries regarding Exam Access Arrangements should be directed to the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo) firstname.lastname@example.org

An extensive information pack is issued to students prior to their GCSE examinations to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the examinations process.
GCSE results day falls on Thursday, 23 August 2018. Results will be available for students to collect from the Assembly Hall from 10 am–12 noon in person or by an appointed person if in possession of a signed dated letter of authorisation from the candidates. This is a happy occasion and allows for students to celebrate together their hard work. GCSE results will be sent out to students by first class post if not collected. GCSE results will not be available on the Warden Park website.
Queries and questions regarding remarks or enquiries about results are directed to subject teachers in the first instance. In some cases these may incur a charge. Please note, we are not permitted to submit a remark request for a student unless we are in possession of a completed candidate consent form. Click here to access candidate consent form Once you have discussed your query with your child's teacher, please forward the consent form to the relevant department. Please be patient as not all subject teachers return until the start of the new academic year. Our Careers & Futures Manager will be on hand to offer support regarding post 16 opportunities email@example.com
Certificates are issued at the Awards Ceremony in November for all students. For those who are unable to attend this event, certificates will be posted home or to an alternative address by arrangement with the Exams Officer.
Please note, Warden Park Academy will not be held responsible for loss or damage to exam certificates not collected.
If you require re-placement certificates, these can be ordered online via the examination boards’ websites. This will incur a fee.
For students who wish to collect and keep their GCSE Art and Design, Photography or Technology coursework following results publication, it will be available for collection on Awards evening.
Warden Park Academy does not accept Private or External candidates wishing to sit exams at our centre.
This includes ex students who wish to retake, as we are not a post 16 facility.
